U16 Tour Team

Meet the USA U16 Tour Players



A series of U16 test matches are scheduled to take place in Virginia between the United Kingdom and the United States. A team of eight under-16 inbound players are traveling from the UK to play a team of seven under-16 players chosen to represent the USA.

The U16 Tour matches will happen in Round Hill, VA during the Blue Ridge Brawl tournament (August 11-13). The players will also participate in a development camp with US coach Summer Weldon and UK coach Lizzie Shearling during the week leading up to the matches.

Libby Dial U16 Player

How long have you played: 4 years

What are you most excited about for this tour?
I am excited to be a part of a team of people my age and am grateful for the opportunity to play against people from a foreign country.

What are your goals in polocrosse?
To become knowledgeable enough in the sport to teach newer players well and improve my own playing.


Lilly Poe U16 Player
Lilly Poe

Club: Bay Area
How long have you played: 3 years

What are you most excited about for this tour?
I’m most excited to play and learn in the test match and meet international players.

How are you preparing for the matches?
Conditioning all my horses and doing a lot of racquet work on the ground and on horse. Our club also practices twice a week.

What are your goals in polocrosse? 
To one day be on the World Cup Team.


Haydon Shuttles U16 Players

How long have you played: 11 years

What are you most excited about for this tour?
The new people that I will meet from the UK

How are you preparing for the matches?
Riding different horses and having a racquet in my hand every day.

What are your goals in polocrosse?
To make it to the World Cup and play with my dad, mom, and sister in A grade.


Bailey Treadwell U16 Player

How long have you played: 2 years

What are you most excited about for this tour?
I am most excited to play the sport I love, and to learn things from other players and coaches that will help me excel in polocrosse. I am also excited to meet new people and have lots of fun playing with and against them!

How are you preparing for the matches?
I am preparing both of my horses for matches by using my exercise program with them six days a week. I have also been learning new skills and perfecting the ones I already know!

What are your goals in polocrosse?
My goal in polocrosse is to soak in as much knowledge as I can, meet tons of new people, work my way up to the higher grades, and have fun doing it!


Riley Wight U16 Player

How long have you played: 3 years

What are you most excited about for this tour?
I’m excited to meet and play with different people and learn from what they know.

How are you preparing for the matches?
Making efforts to go to as many practices, clinics, and play days as possible to get more experience.

What are your goals in polocrosse?
I would love to play internationally and travel playing in different places so that I can learn from what other people know.

What are you most excited about for this tour?
Being able to play against players from a different country and representing USA.

How are you preparing for the matches?
I’m preparing by practicing everyday and I’m also going to a polocrosse camp. I have a strict conditioning program my mom developed that we do with the horses everyday. I also have a rebound net I shoot off of.

What are your goals in polocrosse?
To reach A grade by next year.

What are you most excited about for this tour?
For this tour I’m most excited about gaining international experience and I am looking forward to seeing how much I learn from new players!

How are you preparing for the matches?
I’ve been riding as much as possible and practicing all basic skills and some new strategies.

What are your goals in polocrosse?
I would eventually like to play in the World Cup and have enough experience to develop new players.
