When there’s not enough room for tack in the trailer, just put a box on the truck!  Now that’s clever!

Saturday evening, April 21

April 21st, 2007

The team has settled well into their daily routine and getting better acquainted with their horses every day.  The days have been very warm, probably in the mid to low 80’s so of course the morning rides are preferred, but all the teams are assigned riding times in order to rotate the time slots on the practice fields between the teams.

The lights on the field were turned on so the teams could get a preview of the glares and shadows before they had to play under them.  Thursday and Friday of next week will have games under the lights.

Snag in the line up!

Did I mention that Elvis is in the house?

The cheering section has begun to arrive.  Marilyn Murphy and Jean Still rolled in last night.  Martha Poldrack, Heather and Aubrey Shuttles pulled in just after lunch.   Robby had the biggest grin on his face!  Can everybody say “AWE!”  Mike and Arleen Strider weren’t far behind.  Interestingly enough, Joy had just been talking to the team today about the value and importance of team and family support!  GO TEAM!

Show your support by posting a comment to the team on this blog!
